A BRIEF BACKGROUND OF COLDFUSION’S FUNCTION AND USE

Using the ColdFusion programming has been used for many years by Information Technology (IT) experts around the world in developing powerful and highly optimized web applications and servers no wonder a lot of companies and business establishments that are commonly having banking transactions which need a secure and safe program.

ColdFusion programming is widely popular among the community of software developers and programmers because of its distinct characteristic which is its diversity to be applied in various industrial verticals. It is considered as a Rapid Application Development (RAD) language that can facilitate to create a stronger and more convincing website as it acts as a scripted language, a server for a website and a programming platform, all in one.

ColdFusion Markup Language

It is created through a Java J2EE platform which is considered in the programming world relatively easy to make and easy to learn thus it earned its popularity among programmers and software developers although it is not made as a fully functional programming language because of its dependency on the Java-based application server that is why it has an extension name of Markup Language thus it is technically termed as ColdFusion Markup Language or CFML.

In fact, the ColdFusion Markup Language or CFML has two types which are Tag-based and a Script-based programming where software developers and programmers can choose between the two through syntax-based code writing but nowadays, Adobe has been included as an additional feature to write a program in ColdFusion but only a few programmers use this type of code writing. That is why its creators are continually finding ways to enhance the coldfusion development.

For those who have experienced developing program using ColdFusion Markup Language or CFML, they find it relatively easy to learn. Its language is not completely object oriented which is considered as one of its downsides but its language was designed by its developers to create a more friendly environment and user interface for web developers.

If you are planning to study and master ColdFusion Markup Language or CFML to level up your career in software development and programming skills, it is suited to use Java, Ruby or Python as your platform in creating ColdFusion Markup Language or CFML. The three mentioned languages and platforms are considered to be mainly focused on object-oriented programming that is easy to learn ColdFusion Markup Language or CFML.

Despite its promise and diversity and its relatively easy way to function and practiced by programmers, ColdFusion Markup Language or CFML is not the popular choice for coders because of its dependency on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). One of the most common reasons for it being a poor choice for coders is its array that starts as one instead of zero which is considered to undermine its credibility.
